Santa Ana Volcano

Santa_ana_volcanoThe Santa Ana Volcano is in the Santa Ana department, it has a height of 2.381 meters above sea level and is one of the highest points in the country. It erupted in October 2005, forcing an evacuation to the nearby town of San Blas. The previous eruption happened back in 1920.

In all actuallity, the last time this volcano erupted before 2005 was in 1904. If you don'e believe me just look on the NASA website.
