Tamarindo

This town is also a surfer's mecca and sport fishing point. The boat captains have a record on marlin, sailfish and gian tuna catches, and are specialist in deep bluewater fishing.
Scuba diving and snorkeling is other major activity, the area offers amazing reefs and crystal waters, and also you can see the Giant Leatherback Turtle lay their eggs on the National Park Las Baulas.
To be completly Honest I must say that this Garden is not such a paradise, the butterflies seems to be mad at the people, the mosquitos are so hungry that they could eat you alive and the workers, well, lets just say they are not the happiers people, it must be the work enviroment, despiste that, the display of butterflies, the colours, the hummingbirds, the complete view it's pretty amazing.
Alhotugh t here are no guarantees you will see toucans, monkeys or any
other critters, nevertheless, the place is utterly alive. You are definetly going to see snakes
and a great variety of insects. There's the tram ride and a hike. Tour
guides are bilingual and friendly. It is most likely to rain at half
way through (hello! it's not called the rainforest for nothing) and
when it rains, it pours. Very nice giftshop, too.
